Difference between Seagate and Maxtor 7200.10

Hi,

I just purchased a Seagate 320GB 7200.10 drive and I have been given a Maxtor DiamondMax 21 7200.10 series drive.

From what I can tell, this drive only has a 3 year warranty as opposed to 5. Would I be correct in thinking the Maxtor drives made by Seagate are not made to the same standard that the actual Seagate ones are?

Im not sure whether to complain or not, if the drives are identical because I will only be getting some extra warranty and its a lot of hassle.

I meant 3 instead of 5
