So I'm getting a 1080 Strix as a present for my best mate who's had a very crappy year and has been drooling over these since they released.

SO, My question is, What is the difference outside of clock speed between these 3 different models ? Do they all come with the RGB backplate etc... ?

If that is true and it isn't really for yourself xD, you are now my hero. What an awesome thing to do for your mate.

I have a 1080 Classified so I don't need another GPU, I've known him since I was 3 years old and we're the same age of 30 now so we've both been through a lot of stuff and he's had an immensely crappy year so thought I'd do something nice for him :)

Plus he's on a GTX 680 so severely needs an upgrade :p

The A8G (check the product code) doesn't clock as well as the standard 8G would. The O8G is supposed to a beast.

I bought the A8G as, despite owning a 980, 780 and 680, I've never overclocked my cards :p So I go for the highest stock clocks.

There's actually a video by ASUS themselves with the differences below.

Also +1 karma :)
