Besides wep is so weak that anyone who knew enough to intercept packets could just break through anyway.WEP is stronger with Mac filtering.
You can't just collect the WEP packets because you need to be in the allowed MAC pool, and you can't sniff the packets for the MAC cos they're encrypted.
I may be mistaken, but MAC filtering and WEP when used together are pretty impermeable.

Your Ninja edit skills aren't good enough.
Because the packets are not encrypted, they can be sniffed, but this relies on the legitimate user transferring data/being connected at the time, the hacker however cannot connect to the AP until he/she discovers the MAC.
