Difference between these Cat 6 cables?

Hi all

Just about to purchase some Cat 6 and I was wondering what the technical differences are between these two products.

I can't see why the 2nd one is much more expensive. Any ideas?

Finally, do people rate this cable as good quality for a domestic installation or should I be looking at different suppliers?

I installed 6 boxes of the first one you've posted, during our house install.

Can't see a difference myself and I'm happy with my choice

The second one has slightly bigger core conductors, do you need that much? How about checking out CAT6a

Don't you mean slightly thinner? 24 gauge as apposed to 23 gauge for the cheaper one.

AWG works the opposite way to what you'd expect.
