Differences between these boards

Hi,

I'm in the market for a new motherboard for the system in my sig below. I want it to have dual PCI-e 2.0 slots in case I want to crossfire later on. Just wondering what the differences are between the x38 gigabyte boards are? there's the ds4, the ds5 and now the ex38-ds5. Cheers

Difference bwetween the DS4 & DS5 is the amount of SATA ports and looks like the capacitors are slightly different and a bigger heatsink on the DS5.

The EX range is their low energy range, not sure how this works though.

Yeah thanks. DS4 should be fine for me then, unless the DS5 allows better OCing?
