Well I've heard a lot of ATI's Radeon collection and a lot about Nvidias GPU's however for what I can see money wise, ATI out performs Nvidia in the higher end models. Personally I've only ever had Nvidia but Im upgrading to a bigger and better rig now and have read a lot of reviews about both chipsets however am still confused which is better for performance and reliablilty

Now, my post comes in where I am having to choose between mid-high end models of the ATI range and the Nvidia range. So far my find has come to the GTS 512mb. But is anyone willing to advise me on a change of heart to the Radeon gpu's or different nvidia cards. I use 22" (1680X1050), will be using it with Q6600, 4GB RAM when I get it all.

Cheers

With the new chips coming out next month i would hold on. Even if you are not getting one of the new chips the price of the current chips shall drop by quite a lot.
