Different Voltages In Memory

Hi there
Im building a new gaming rig and have come across a question i cant answer. I orginally ordered
CMD4GX3M2B1600C8 - 4GB(2x2GB) Corsair XMS3 Dominator DDR3 PC312800(1600), CAS 8-8-8-24, DHX, DF, BEMP,1.65V but the day it was supposed to have arrived they contacted me and said they had run out of stock and werent getting anymore and offered me :
CMP4GX3M2B1600C8 - 4GB (2x2GB) Corsair Dominator DDR3 PC3-12800 (1600), CAS 8-8-8-24, New Connector, DHX, BEMP, 1.5V instead. as far as i can see they're the same except the new one is only 1.5v (instead of 1.65v). So my question is whats the difference between the 2? will the lower voltage effect performance? i intend on overclocking the system. If anyone can offer some insight i would be forever greatful

The lower voltage with the same speeds and timings is a good thing. This means you have even more overclocking headroom.

Thats great news thanks, i got abit confused cos i read on a different forum (not on this site) that 1.5v was used on older ram and wasnt as good performance as 1.65v so im pleased they were wrong. hopefully i'll be able to overclock my amd 965 to 4Ghz with this ram
