Do you know the chain rule? If h(x) = f(g(x)), then h'(x) = g'(x) f'(g(x)). Now, if h(x) = sin^2 (x), can you work out f(x) and g(x), and therefore h'(x) = ...
Thank you, thats the badger i was looking for! The question was giving me a method in a notation i couldn't uderstand but now it makes sense! I know i shold know how to do that but i forgot! A good 3 months having done NO thinking whatsoever!!! I'm about to start a natural sciences couse at cambridge, maths physics chemistry and geology! eek!
