i wondered why 2gb of this ram only 35 pounds, and then 4gb is 80 pounds, the 4 stick work in quad channnel or something?

overlook in pricing i guess

buying 1gb sticks is crazy though, get 2gb sticks

In general, memory pricing fluctuates a lot faster than others such as CPUs or MOBOs due to supply n demand, IC yeild, etc etc. As far as the pricing for a company like OCUK, their prices they pay can change weekly if not daily. It's sort of like fresh market fish. So, the retail pricing will reflect this.

With my experience you should go with the latest technology. every technology is just useable for about 3-5 year so if you want to buy a older one you have to change it sooner like for example after 2 year.
