So, they remove dedicated servers and server lists to make the game more accessible, and easier to get into a game.

How do they expect us stupid individuals to setup NAT settings on our router if we can't even use a server list?

Complete gash!

LOLZ

All this so called pc gamers unite against the "evil corporation" why don't they all run cracked cod 4 servers then ? that would surely send a big message IW's way.

But nope they don't because most people don't care really.

Don't see how that would help anything but strengthen IW's position.

because most server providers wont let you run a cracked server?

If the connection of the call of duty franchise on the 360 is anything to go by, this could possibly be the worst MP FPS to grace the PC in a long time. Anyone who has played Gears of war etc on 360 will know exactly what i mean. Ridiculous waiting times but worst of all a connection so bad i might aswell be sat on Venus playing the damn game, the connection is so bad sometimes i feel like back handing the monitor through the window :P. Rant over bed time :P

The only real financial backlash IW might suffer is when they release the next game as they may have ****ed off significant amounts of people who actually bought the game as well as those boycotting it. Gamers rarely go back to a series after a flop imo.

They will still sell millions across all platforms.

They already are selling millions of copies across all platforms, check the news. Several merchants are saying it's the most pre-ordered game in their history.

They're just not selling to you anymore. They obviously figured they would get more money elsewhere.

I love how a lot of people don't think we PC gamers matter anymore. If PC didn't matter, they wouldn't release a PC version at all.

I think there is a key difference between 'PC gamers' and gamers who use a PC though.

Sales of things like The Sims show there is a potentially huge market of people who might game on a PC and there may well be more potential revenue in those sorts of gamers (especially the kind who are happy to keep dishing out £10-£15 on content packs like Sims buyers) than there is the dedicated 'PC gamer'.

I got properly excited for this game and will probably still buy it, but the MP is seriously messed up (as most of this thread goes on about). Will probably buy it, play for a bit, then sell and go back to COD4. Only thing to make me keep it would be dedicated servers and a decent amount of players in each game. Dedicated (Clan) servers are just a nice easy way to make sure your on a server you like with people you know, stupid descision to get rid of them :(

You can't sell it
