I have windows xp 64bit edition installed on my machine and there is no drivers available for my digital camera!! i dont really want to have to buy a new camera/new O/S.

jsut wondering if a internal/external card reader would do the trick? its a sony dsc-93 camera i have so it uses memory stick pro.

I'm surpised you have to install drivers at all in Vista for this camera, I would have thought I'd pick up straight away and you could have taken the photographcs off through My Computer -> Camera. Might be advisable to contact Sony for addtional help before you spend any cash buying a card reader.

cheers ill give that a try when i get home, although ive already tried the ones from the sony website and various others! dont think ive seen this one though!

if not i just use a card reader :) yoiu can get themcheap enouigh if you dont buy the ofical sony overpriced one.

do you know one which will work on windows XP 64bit? seems to be a lot of drivers missing for this version of windows xp, i guess its cause not people use it.

hmmm cant say i have ever tried one for windows 64bit. how ever cardreaders dont normnally come with there own drivers i know mine did not. just plugged it into xp and let it do its thinsg it adds it as a removable strogae device. they are relatively basic bits of equipment soo dont neeed speical drivers.

had a quick look on apopular auction site :) and can get them for about £4 including deliver for a usb card reader. for that sort of money worth a try i think. i just looked for memory stick pro card reader.

*to admins .sorry if this post breaks rules by mentioning the auctionsite but couldnt see a usb memory stick reader in shop.
