Digital input Cubase LE?

Anyone know if Cubase LE can take a digital input? I want to use my Tascam 788 as a mixer and then SPDIF out->SPDIF in but can't seem to find an option?

Any ideas?

Should be yes. Most of the desks at my college are are connected to the desk via optical. Not sure on how to do in though, sorry.

This was with, my Audigy 2ZS, for some reason it wouldn't accept a digital signal when using the Creative ASIO driver, only multimedia or full duplex.
