Digital or physical?

Everything i have is digital,i don't have one dvd,cd,blu-ray ect....got rid of every hard copy a few years ago.

Digital, unless the hard copy is rather nice, like the LotRO Shadow of Angmar/Moria hard copy.

Digital, I won't touch physical with a bargepole. Machine doesn't have a DVD drive in it.
TV doesn't have a DVD/blue ray drive. Got rid of my massive DVD collection years ago.

How any one prefers physical is beyond me.

All of this.

Being able to access my entire music/film/game collection when away from the house is awesome.

Back in the olday big box days - every game was a collectors edition. The Infocom games were great.

Since the move to DVD cases I'm happy to go digital.

This. I can live without a plastic DVD case and having to change discs.

Digital everything now.

Digital now. The last physical game I bought was BF3.

I used to love collecting the big boxes with manuals back in the day. But the amount of space they, and now DVD cases take up is too much.

Digital is just easier.

I like my collectors editions so I do like physical copies.
But mainly for games I am a huge fan of, so I have Gears of War collection, Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim collectors, Borderlands, Elder Scrolls Online (Molag Bal).

The rest I just buy digital, although do love art books from games. Digital ones don't really cut it.

Digital for me as well. I need the space in the house for books and CDs (though mostly books).

I always hated the big boxes back in the day as well. A massive stack of mostly empty cardboard boxes. Since the move to DVD cases things have improved, and now with digital distribution it's a world better. I still prefer paper books though, as does the missus, so we've got a room in the house that's just our library. I've resisted the urge to switch to an ebook reader, despite the lure of the shiny.

I prefer digital downloads purely for the convenience. I've never sold a game so resale value isn't very important to me. I also like the fact that with digital downloads I always have my game collection with me as long as there's an Internet connection.

PC - Purely digital. I'll generally only buy games when they're on sale and the cheapest are usually digital. Also they have no resale value so there's no point.

Console - Almost always physical. Not only can you sell them on if you want to, they're also generally a lot cheaper than the online stores. I'll only buy console games digitally if they're very cheap.

How much bandwidth would streaming a 1080p bluray at full bitrate and with a 7.1 lossless soundtrack take up? I have up to 17Mb internet (usually at around the 10Mb mark) so I'd much rather have the disc.

Digital all the way on games, music and books for the last couple of years now.

So much better not having to worry about all the clutter.
