I want to buy the child I look afters Mum one of these for her birthday this week. I can probably beg about £50 off his Dad (if I ask nicely and hes in a good mood) for us to go and get her one, but what sort of thing do I need to look for, resolution of the screen etc.
Also will they come with the memory card, or will I have to buy that seperately, and are they all usually ones you can plug into the mains?

Would appreciate any help.
:)

I have one which is made by Samsung, it was around £100, and the screen is brilliant. But it also plays movies and mp3's. I think that’s one of the reasons why it cost a little more.

I don’t think they come with a card, but some come with say 128 or 250mb internal memory, which should get you going. Only down side with that is you will need to transfer the images from a computer. If you get a card, you should be able to plug it in and select external card on the screen as the image source.
