One of the numpites in marketing has broken the macro function on our Minolta Dimage A2 so looking for a replacement. We have between £300-350 budget and must have excellent macro.
Well your not going to get a DSLR AND a dedicated Macro lens for £300-350. One option though would be to get a Nikon D40/D40X or Canon 350D/400D with the kit lens, and add a Raynox macro filter to the end, which quite a few people have been getting excellent results from. Do you need a DSLR though? Would a Bridge camera not suffice?
