Just wondered if any one had any ones to recommend, the reason i'd like one is theres always a que at the petrol stations and none of them fit on my motor bike either. Don't know how much they cost, 20\35 quid?

I was bought a Michelin one (£35 from Halfrauds on the receipt) for a Christmas Pressie a couple of years ago, I guess they should be cheaper now!..

I thought it would be pants, but it's still going to this day, and is very accurate, with auto-cutoff I use it even on my pushbike tyres!

does that run off mains or car 12v? was thinking that i'd like both or just off mains really, just because can't charge the bike up otherwise.

Good point, no!

However, I plug it into my other christmas pressie, a 12V rechargeable power pack (one of those jump starters with a cigarette lighter socket)..

Seems odd how most of my Car tat comes from Christmas pressies!

Halfords own one works satisfactorily. £25. Comes in a little nylon case bag thing. Dial in the pressure, switch it on and it shuts itself off automatically.

If you want to run it off the mains, then I'd suggest a cheap 'jumpstart' pack with an accessory socket, or for £25, you can get a mains to accessory socket unit from the highstreet (12v 5A should be enough)

Well 2 and 4 wheels just want the options open really, Its harder to find some where to top the bike up really, none of the hose attachments fit onto the vavles (silly spokes) .

I'm a bit crap at checking tyre pressue too dont really do it often enough so just thought, something I could do at home would be great saves lots of hassel and makes life easyer.

Any pointers at products was what i was looking for really.
