Digital Wall Organisers

With the hallway about to be decorated and some work done to convert the garage to my home office, the wife has said about getting one of those digital family organiser things I have had a look at Amazon do one, Dakboard is another, does anyone have such a device and how would they rate it?

I know you can get a normal family manual calendar but she feels this will be better for her so well new tech toy so who am I to argue
