Just got 3 brand new gpu cards plugged every else in and my pc is still shutting down after turning it on 1 second.
Most definetly motherboard i presume.
So should i buy another x79 possibly Asus P9X79-E WS or go x99?

Rested cmos, battery 2 same thing.
Could the onswitch for the chassis cause this issue?

No but does the motherboard have an on switch? Have you rebuilt it at all?

Doesn't that motherboard has a Q code indicator or onboard led error indicators? Check what code it displays and look it up in the manual

That was going to be my next one :D

Yes.

Hope lady lucks on my side)

OK, that's a sign that something is being shorted against the case. Take the motherboard out & build on some cardboard. I think you'll find this works.

If it does work, you'll need to build it back into the case with care, making sure nothing is shorting on the case. Over tightening mobo screws are a #1 cause.

Ok so I replaced the mobo and the quick swtiching power problem was eradicated.
Only thing is I cant get it to boot/
Looked at the error code and got 0C . The manual doesn't decipher this so I am stuck.
