Ran into a brick wall after my pc posts the q code bf when powering on and shuts down after 20 seconds black screen.
Was working before and last night also when i switched the psu.
Any ideas ?

Tried putting the windows disk in and doing a system restore? if that is possible. Also you could try with 1 graphics card in instead of 3 and see if that changes anything. I get a odd boot problem using 2 cards where I am unable to get into the bios unless I remove one of the cards. Could also be PSU or memory related, trial and error I guess.

I'm pretty sure BF is to do with ram, I would try resetting bios and seeing if it persists. Also more specifically I think it's to do with ram voltage being low.

It just powers on nothing is displayed on the monitor and then its shuts off after staying on the q code b7".
I have reverted to another power supply, rearranged the graphic cards and swapped the ram completely.
Apparently from scouring the net b7" implies not enough voltage to ram modules, however I am unable to get into bios to change the voltages. It was working fine couple days ago though.I have tried men ok button bios change button cmos . nothing.
Any other ideas?

Beat me to it.
Currently my motherboard is the asus rampage 5 extreme 10 edition. Would i need to press the bios button at back to reset it. sorry have never tried this before)

I disabled slot a b and d for ram and was able to post /boot into bios with c enabled, only 8gb ram detected though from a 16gb stick (64gb total).
I have checked the cpu pins and they seemed fine so i doubt there is something wrong with the memory controller, or ram as i switched those.
What is causing this, is it the motherboard itself??

Right so removing the cmos will defy work. Even tho by disabling slot b and d for ram got me able to POST.
i shall remove the battery if that really will help me get get full 64gb ram. ??

gave it 30 mins did nothing.
What else could I try?
disabling half of the ram allows me to boot into bios.
Should I go and increase voltages?
what else should I try.
mobo :Asus rve edition 10
ram:corsair dom platinmum 64gb 3ghz)
