Dina Asher Smith 100m final on now

Just been watching the Triple Jump final, Edwards sure jumped a long way back in the day.

Edit: 10.71, that's quick!

Silver will have to do, for now, but at 23 DAS is only going to get quicker and quicker.

Adam Gemili just stormed his 200m semi final with 20.03. That matches the chinese runner. The two fastest got 19.80+. Hopefully he can at least win a bit of alloy tomorrow night.

Michael Johnson is the coolest man on TV, One of best TV pundits going, speaks his mind and is bang on the money every single time.

The high-jump final was fantastic.

Such a shame athletics is selling its soul, Seb Coe is shocking, mind you typical Tory.

Agreed, Michael Johnson is a legend and always predicts outcomes correctly, he really knows his stuff. Yep women's high jump final was great.

Today's schedule, and the noteworthy ones in bold. Four finals and a semi. Don't know who's in the pole vaulting, javelin or 800m finals but should be good to watch. Dina Asher again in the 200m women's semi, should come first or second. Adam Gemili hopefully bronze in his 200m men's final.

Yeah, I guess he was never going to medal because he's never been in the sub 20s through these heats and semi final and the 3 medallists were always in the 19s. But his PB is just under 20 seconds so he's capable. If he takes Michael Johnson's advice and doesn't tighten up towards the end, he can find that speed.
