Direct2Drive is moving to GameFly

i got an email about it last night. i almost binned it before remembering i do have one game on there. :p

There are a couple things you can do now to ensure a smooth transition:

Download your favorite game purchases from Direct2Drive. We plan to have as many game files as possible available on GameFly. Just to be sure, please download your old game files before the transition.

well this isn't good enough really. they should have ALL games available.... :/

Yeap got the email, but I only ever got one game so I don't need to download anything really. The whole wanting box fetish thing I have going on

What will happen to my games that I purchased on Direct2Drive?

Once the transition occurs, your Direct2Drive purchases will be available on the GameFly Web site and in the GameFly Client.

Some older titles may not be available immediately after the transition, and will be added later.

Also, GameFly will not support game guides and other non-game files. To be safe, please download your purchases and non-game files from Direct2Drive by the first week of January.

30% off code for anything on gamefly right now not sure if you have to have been migrated from d2d or not but here it is:

Will I be able to download games using my Web browser?

GameFly's aim is always to bring you the best experience possible when it comes to buying, downloading, and installing your games. Currently, we believe that the GameFly Client will give you the most consistent, high-quality experience on any PC or Mac that meets the Client's minimum requirements. However, we do listen to our customers and we're always exploring options based on customer ideas and feedback, so we welcome your suggestions.

A bit concerned about Gamefly, although I have the games backed up from Direct2Drive days.

Civilization 4 is listed, but not the expansions as I bought complete edition.

Neverwinter Nights 2 is not listed, or the expansions as I got complete edition again.

Hope they add them in the future.
