Directive 8020 - Path tracing!!! #PTON

The graphics to me are unimpressive, it looks dated compared to other UE5 games, even with PT enabled.

Watched a half hour of it being streamed, all it was for that half hour was cutscenes and about 3 or 4 QTE events which consisted of nothing more than pressing 1 key repeatedly to do things like help push a dead bodies arm etc. Obviously it was only 30mins but if the rest of the "game" is like that then its not a title for me

Lol sounds even worse than the Dark Picture games which were always a bit like that, albeit not to that extreme level.

Watching some of the benchmark videos the performance looks horrific and the game doesn't even look that good.

30fps (60 with 2x FG) with DLSS 4 Performance at 4K with PT, this is bad given other PT games are 60fps under the same settings without FG..You can force MFG on all GPUs to get over 100fps but the HUD UI floating elements then become jittery as it's injected FSR/optiscaler MFG.

Refunded.

If I leave a mixed review on Steam then the dweebs will be out in full force again saying "YOU ONLY PLAYED FOR OVER AN HOUR ".

Just finished it, the last chapter is a joke got around 30fps. They went hard with nanite there or just left it on default and overused it or something. Was about 50-60ish for the rest of the game. Even a 5090 won't be able to hold 60fps there with DLSS performance and just RT not PT.

Hi. should i enable both... Ray tracing and Path tracing? Or is Path tracing deactivating Ray tracing automaticly? I ask, because i can turn both Switches on, at the Same time.

At this point I think its not what developers/publishers can do, it's more to do with what they can get consumers to spend on hardware. Sad really.

I enjoyed the days of next gen games on the Amiga then PCs that brought games to us like Shadow of the Beast, Another World and Unreal. That said, I was always more a fan of games that had better gameplay like Cannon fodder, Sensi soccer, Doom & Half Life.
