Hi,

I'm curenttly considering the ATI X800 GTO card and flashing it to speeds of X850XT PE but I'm worried that it will not offer good compatibility with Vista. How is Vista going to handle DX9 cards when it's released? Are there any decent articles anyone has came across?
 
Current card will run Vista fine, but dodgy in glass effect for some in beta builds but will be fixed, your card is only a DX9B card anyhow which is years old version of DX, DX9C came with the service pack SP2 on Oct04 approx.

You will need wait and see or move up to a more modern card around Jan07

ATI drivers have had LDMM support from long time, which is needed to get the nice effect in Vista.
