hey guys,
im running 1gb 5870 Alien Vs Predator DX11 and I dont think it's working properly

When I get up close to an enemy and give him what for at point blank, i seem to get a lot of grey and shadowy surfaces, I would expect a high level of detail up close as thats what DX11 tessellation is about isnt it?

it's just weird cos for example i ran up behind an enemy predator guy and stabbed him in the back, this causes his head to come up in your face onscreen and it just looked greyish and blank instead of finely rendered.

is this a problem or is it just the game?

im about to play it in DX9 i will let you know the results

the effects and the worlds look great in DX11 it's just the tessellation doesnt appear to be there
 
What are we looking at? all I see is what looks to be like two giant rocks with an arm on one of them, haven't the faintest idea what's glowing in the middle that looks like a floating planet? where is that coming from...

Then there is the garbled text?... surely thats not normal.
