DirectX Nov out

Could be name of file anyone gave it, Im about to run the OCT one from MS site, so I will keep a eye on it and see what it says, then try the "NOV" one, it should not even run if not needed.

Well, considering dxwebsetup downloaded the update directly from MS, I can't see someone having snuck in there to rename the file.

Can you not read the date on the MS site ?.

"File Name: dxwebsetup.exe
Version: 9.21.1148
Date Published: 10/24/2007"

Makes it look like Octobers.

I did get one of MS not a file hosting site and since I can now run it (Im done using PC), its also stated its downloading file for November. :) (now thats made my day, far more exciting then even Crysis)

I read the date.

MS released Novembers Dx update yesterday, which was 24th October, which is why it says Date Published: 10/24/2007. :confused:

I never said i didn't get it from ms. I was just trying to point out that it would be perhaps better in the future if it was linked to ms instead of some file shareing place? And the ms servers are faster i beleive.

Me aiming at TOM if you mean the one about Ignoring.

Why you all arguing, I just got from MS as better and safer than a 3rd party, I did not notice it was Nov and dont really care.

I have had a long nap, am going to catch a movie and tv eps then wait on Crysis Demo. :D
