hi, have only just started playing this on the pc, was awesome on the 360 but i cant seem to control the car on the pc, is this down to my controller or some of the pc game settings? cheers

Okay bud, go to start, then "devices and printers", then right click the "game controller" and click "game controller settings". When you have done that, you will see an option "properties", when done, you will see two tabs, go to the "settings" tab and calabrate the controller.

controllers calibration is fine in other games, just seems to be dirt 2, is odd, thinking might be compatibility issues with my pad and the game, either that or its way harder on the pc than the 360

i have the 360 controller for the PC and everything is fine here. i know that doesn't help you but it could be your controller not playing ball.

Have you tried a different one?

only one i got, am looking at getting a 360 pad setup, but that wont be until after xmas, just wondered if there was a setting to make the steering less sensitive.

i found the advanced settings with things like steering dead zone and steering saturation but couldnt seem to adjust these to make it any better, i either had no steering or way too much.

I had the same issue with NFS Shift, on the PS3 it was fine but on my PC with (cheapish) analog gamepad it was horrible no matter what setting I tweaked.

yeah i had issues with NFS:Shift too, but that has driver aids, so although i dont like using them i could get around it.
