DiRT Demo this Thursday?

ive downloaded every single demo out there and usually on the day they come out and have never had this problem before.Its annoying cause im stuck on 37% but give microsoft credit, one out of seventy isn't bad at all.
 
Yeah I think MS should give us all a free game to make up for this outrage :p

Even with the PC demo it was a struggle to find any decent servers when it 1st came out, not quite sure what people expect. It's a demo its free, if you cant get it tonight you may well get it tomorrow, you will not die.... :)
 
Yeah I guess if I had not got it today then I would be annoyed as well :) but really its not worth waiting for, its good but your not going to play it for hours :)

Maybe theirs a fault or technical issue has occured?

Learn to be more patient, its not like your paying anything for it.

I downloaded the pirates demo in under 30 mins, similar size so its something just with DIRT is the problem.Sure its annoying for people like you/me but aint much you can do other than wait.

Im sat at 39% and happy to wait, ive downloaded the PC demo but im reluctant to try it as i know it will make the Xbox version seem very low res.

A bit annoying the Pc version is costing me £17.99 and the inferior (resolution and modability wise) Xbox360 version is twice the price. :confused:
 
jesus memphis wanna be any more defensive about microsoft? maybe you might realise most of the people moaning are 360 owners and the people complaining could possibly not be classed as fanboys, unlike most of this forum :p
And on the plus side mine is at 22% and climbin 1% every 15 - 20 sec now :D

scrap the above its now got all the way to 33% and stopped. Are microsoft using some kind of bittorrent or something over Live? ARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGH

Downloaded in about 30mins this morning ;)

Just had another blast, it gets better and better, especially the buggies :D

When my 360 isn't crashing that is :(
 
Well im stuck at 44% but is sloooowly moving up, I think its just a case of we are all hamering the servers trying to download it at the same time. I bet you guys had the same problem with the halo 3 beta when it was released.

Yeah I really want to play this game but I can wait ;)
 
86%. Been downloading since 5ish pm. Call it 12 hours download so far :O A paid service takes 12 hours to download 660ish MB. GG

Im not bothered at all really thought. The steady flow of 360 demo's recently has been really good and appart from this one off most of them download in minutes.

Almost identical situation as mine. I can't see how this is so slow considering how quickly the Forza 2 demo took to download.
 
Tried restarting numerous times, flies up to around 30% then starts to crawl. At this time of the morning it should be flying :/
 
This is really pathetic. I was out most of the evening last night and left my 360 running - didn't downloaded much.
Restarted it when I got home - hadn't downloaded much till midnight.
Restarted it and left it running for the whole night and it didn't downloaded anything! :mad:
Restarted it again few minutes ago and now its 30%...
My internet connection is fine btw.

Probably not a bad idea.
If they could get the XBOX to do P2P I mean.
If everybody who downloaded it also shared it for a certain amount of time, would relieve the servers of a lot of traffic, and everybody would get it quicker.
