Posting Instructions

Benchmark can be found within the game on the graphics menu at the bottom.

Please include a screencapture of the Benchmarks score which is submitted at the end of the bench. The screenshot must be full size and original and match the resolution you benched in.

Please post the (actual) clocks of your gpu, gpu model, cpu clocks + model, Please include non boost clocks Nvidia users and please include standard memory clocks, ala 1250mhz instead of 5000mhz.

Where To Buy The Game?

The game is cheap to buy and fun to play, especially with friends. It has some nice graphics and some lovely lighting/reflection effects. Can be picked up cheaply from CJS Keys or Simply Cd Keys for £5 or so. You can also get it cheaply on the Auction site.

Damn, thanks for letting me know. Have to change it to MSAA x8 then. I will rerun my tests and everyone will have to do the same, sorry folks. Didn't realise that setting was AMD only.

I wonder how Scotty did it? I guess he selected MSAA?

What's with all the game benchmark threads all of a sudden? Might actually have this game so can give it a run.

Well i started playing Hitman and realised how much i enjoyed it and its benchmark is cool and consistent so i recommended it to Kaap. Then i remembered that Bioshock and Dirt both have similar benches. Didn't have the balls to ask Kaap to do more so thought id step up. I promise not to palm this one off on Uncle Petey this time as well. He's never forgiven me you know.

I have Dirt 3 as well. That does have a decent, consistent benchmark sequence. Its a different game though to Showdown, but i believe both are made by the same dev.

You start a Dirt 3 thread and ill contribute plenty of scores.

Kaap have you got a quick fire, easy method of updating yours? I welcome any tips.

It is helpful if they post multiple results in the same thread, then it is just a case of copy, paste and alter a couple of things.

It gets easier once most of the regulars have posted their first results and then if there is any updates it is easy to edit.

Yeah that's what ive been doing. Trouble is i tend to forget to edit one thing. At one point yesterday we had two Humbugs. I think we can all agree one is plenty.

I'm happy so long as you keep your 290X's on top. At some point i will move above stock settings, so when i do watch out...
