Dirt showdown demo keeps crashing

Hey guys, anyone played the dirt showdown demo yet? are you having probs with it? mine just keeps crashing.

Ran fine for me, but wouldn't worry as you're not missing anything.

just checked the requirments and it doesn't list the gtx 680, has anyone got it to work for more than a couple of minutes with a 680?

would like to give it a go, looked really interesting in 3D but havn't managed to complete a lap yet without it crashing back to desktop, tried it without 3D on too but still the same.
Deleted it and just reinstalling it in case i got a bad download.

A guy on the codemasters forums said he had it running with 680gtx sli so it should work although as it doesn't have the card listed in the specs it most likely hasn't been tested with said card.

Im using gtx460 sli and i keep crashing to desktop within a few seconds of starting a race

Edit: I have even tried on medium setting with 2xmsaa to see if it was a performance issue, but it still crashed. Im running at 2560x1440.

Out of interest, what drivers are you using?

Im using 301.24

Im about to try with sli disabled see if that affects it.

Edit: nope still crashes

Me too, maybe beta the problem, gonna go back to 301.10 see if it fixes it. Thanks, let us know what happens with sli disabled

Ok so disabling sli didnt work.

I set the graphics to low preset with no msaa at all, and it now works. Playing on low isnt ideal, but it didnt look too bad tbh.

It Running fine on my system with SLI gtx 580 with the 301.24 BETA drivers with all the graphic options set to max...

I noticed that the demo would crash during the race on my laptop with a nVidia gt 555m if I set the graphical detail option "Water" to medium or above.

With "Water" set to low the demo was stable. I posted this in the official forum but no one else has replied saying this fixes their crash.....

I've got 2 x GTX670s in SLI and as soon as the race started, the game would crash to the desktop within 2-3 seconds. Changing the water detail to 'low' fixed it for me as well.
