Confirmed today no PC delay for DX11 BS this time either ;) Uses GFWL so all the haters can not buy it as Codemasters use GFWL on all their PC games nowadays (including the upcoming Operation Flashpoint Red River- which looks very good on PC ;))

Excellent. Fantastic game series if you value having fun above die-hard realism.

Which I certainly do!

I like it... i especially like it when I buy a game on Steam and then have to then also use GFWL.

NOT!

You know why MS are doing it? To release a game on PS3 or 360 you have to pay Sony / MS to get it licensed. You can release whatever you want for the PC. This is what MS tried to stop with GFWL.... EPIC FAIL!

I hope they get rid of all the american xgames rubbish and snorefest buggy races etc. I want a damn rally game.

I believe that is part of the dirt "package" and to get a pure rally game we would have to go back to it being called Colin Mcrae, which as we all know isnt going to happen.

That said, I used to hate Steam when it was new... now I would go as far as to say I think it's brilliant.

yeah, but GFWL exists for about 4 years and in that time still SUCKS.
MS are simply incapable of creating a good service out of it - they lack people and dedication + are held back by too much bureocracy.
Valve and GOG are small companies, lean and quick and efficient in comparison, and its shows.

Does look interesting alright. I got 2 free vouchers for Dirt2 with my XFX 5870's back in '09 and had a good few sessions on it, even if I almost always bottle it on the turns and end up in a ditch :D

GFWL is a totally useless, horrible piece of software that no-one asked for. But as long as the menu system isn't such a pain to navigate, I'm looking forward to this.

I am looking forward to this. I never played the first dirt and have not long been playing dirt 2. I love it :) Think I am getting pretty good aswell which makes a change as usually, I am rubbish at car games.
Hand brake turns on those tight corners are so much fun, even if I mess it up however, I am starting to nail them. Am currently playing it through on serious difficulty and have pretty much come first in every race :) Time to put it up a notch I think.
