I have a Dell 2350 with a different heatsink and fan to the stock ones. I have the fan plugged into a voltage adapter that plugs straight into the power supply, so the motherboard thinks there is no fan connected. Is there a way I can disable this message at start up because otherwise I need to push F1 every time.

Thanks :)

There might be a setting that gets rid of the requirement of having to press F1, or ignore system warning messages of that kind. However, as UnworthyBean said, it might not be there being a Dell motherboard.

Mine is in hardware monitoring tab. In there is it is with the my q-fan options. Obiviously that is an Asus board but I am sure there is something similar on the Dell motherboard which I take it is a foxcon board?

I cant find anything on the BIOS, these motherboards seem really dumbed down, all you can really change is the boot order and not a lot else unfortunately.

I supose if it is possible, you could plug in a case fan to the header, this will get ride of the F1 halt error. Sorry that is the only other option I can think of.
