Disabling powersaving on 5870?

I've got this graphics card:

So far I've been really happy with it.. but I've got one problem.

It underclocks itself to 157core/300mem to save power or whatever.

Unfortunately for some of my games it "forgets" to put it back to full speed.
I can't see any options to turn off powersaving.
Anyone got any ideas?

Create and then amend a profile which gives you higher idle clocks ?

to disable power saving completely.

rip the bios out of your card and edit most of the idle speeds and change them to the 3d speeds.

and your done
