Hey Guys

I've got Windows Server 2003 Enterprise running on a machine on my network at the min but I'm tryin to disable the Shutdown Event Tracker on it.

I don't know why but there is no option to disable it in gpedit.msc and a couple of the keys/folders in the registry that are detailed here are missing

does anyone have any idea how to fix this or a different way to disable the Shutdown Event Tracker?

Thanks in advance :)

Bloody Typical!

I've sorted it lol. this has been bugging me for the past couple of weeks and as soon as I post I figure it out

The System optionw as missing from Administrative Templates (hence no Shutdown Event Tracker option). I just right clicked on the Administrative Templates and added the System one

lol ah well, thanks anyway :)
