Disabling USB Power Transfer (Data only) in UNR?

I'm using my mobile as a 3G modem for a while, and this is working fine but i'm hitting one snag. When i plug the phone in, my netbook will charge it. This eats through the 3cell battery like a starving child.

Anyone know of a way to disable it from charging the phone, and just allow data transfer?

Never mind, apparently this can be sorted via the phone itself, by accessing a "secret" settings menu, only available if you know the "code". God it's like owning a Master System all over again.
