Ok, so I currently have a GTX 760 and I'm wanting to sell it to be able to buy an Xbox One (yeah, yeah, bully me idc ;P) but i was wondering what things besides not being able to game wont i be able to do without a GPU?

Nvidia shadowplay as a given. Then the lack of CUDA will impact any tasks requiring this GPGPU tasks for instance.

Apart from that l am sure other people in the know will have a greater understanding.

As long as you CPU has an integrated iGPU then the whole everyday computer experience should not really take a hit.

Yeah, i have an i5 2500k, so would it be alright for video editing and photoshop (light photoshop that is) im a frequent YouTuber so ya know :P

Hmm. The major thing is gaming.

Some other stuff may go slower like:
- Photoshop (and other photo editing progs that use the GPU)
- Video editing progs that uses the GPU
- Your browser (most of them get accelerated by the GPU these days)
- Flash
- Video players (that can offload to GPU)
- BOINC projects that use GPU
- Bitcoin mining

I wouldn't expect any of them to be dramatically affected, but those are the kind of things that aren't games that use the GPU

To add to the list, 3D Computer Aider Design (CAD) is a type of application which is best used with a decent graphics card. Also, if you want to run lots of monitors then having a graphics card is useful (the GTX 760 can run four IIRC).

It's a bit of a shame that you are selling a graphics card like the GTX 760 (which seems to sell second hand for around £150) to help pay for a £379 Xbox one which isn't as powerful (graphically) as the GTX 760 and hardly has any games. But your loss I guess.

I don't see why you would, as its an expensive downgrade but if you wouldn't game on the pc you won't lose much..

Ok so all I use my PC for is video editing, photoshop and my elgato etc.

I run two monitors, but my i5 2500k can run 2 monitors.

So will there a be a dramatic loss in performance? I WONT want to game on my PC as I only use my PC for gaming every other week but with my XBox i can use it all the time.

Also, video editing programs like Sony Vegas and Premier Pro do use graphics card acceleration with OpenCL (see here). So if you are using these applications a lot then a half-decent modern graphics card would be worthwhile.
