Disappearing drive

I've got a 512 GB 970 Pro which is at around 99% health it keeps disappearing though. This happened a while back and I put it in a drawer and forgot about it. I installed it into a different system and did a fresh windows install and played a few games without issue. Turned it on again today and the SSD is completely undetected.

Wondering if I just bin it or if anyone can suggest a fix?

There was a firmware thing recently iirc a full power off brings the drive back. Then install the latest firmware via Samsung magician.

Could also be a cable issue.

A full power off does indeed bring it back (well it did that time) but unfortunately it's on the latest firmware according to Samsung magician
