Disc Overheads - Normal?

Hi Guys,

I'm the proud owner of:
£62.95 x 1 - Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 320GB ST3320620AS SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM (HD-078-SE)

in my new Rig, its showing up as 298 GB however, now I know there is an overhead but should it really be 22GB ?

Yeah it's the good old one of manufacturers saying 1Gb=1000Mb etc whereas windows is saying 1Gb=1024Mb etc

The manufacturer says 320Mb = 320*1000*1000*1000 bytes

Windows says 320000000000 bytes / (1024*1024*1024) = 298Gb
