Seems like most of the "mainstream" press haven't even picked up on this yet. Or are just choosing to ignore it (maybe at the government's request lol)
I won't be shocked if BBC have had their marching orders. When it first came into force, BBC kept selling it as needing to verify for "adult content" (so porn to a lot of people) and not much else, basically trotted out the government's line. They did have one article which was allegedly "both sides" but it was just two randoms instead of experts and very light on details.
No real coverage given to any of the legit criticisms people have.
