Discrete GPU recommendation?

I'm selling my Vega 56 because it's just not getting used. Using the onboard ATM but will be moving to ryzen soon so need a discrete GPU. There are lots of cheap cards to choose from but do you have any recommendations?

Needs to drive a 1080 and 720p monitors and be Cool, Quiet and low power. Being future proof is important too as it likely won't get replaced untill it dies. Budget shouldn't be a problem with a discrete GPU but obviously want to keep costs down. Would welcome your suggestions for me to check out. Thanks.

How big a Ryzen are you looking for? With the desktop renoirs announced and available to oems now, you could look for one of those?

They would be a good choice but I'm going for a 3950X, got some multithreaded workloads.

Buy a used Rx470 for around £70, decent 1080p card and you won't lose much money on it if you sold it in a few months time, it kills a GT 1030 performance wise and might even be a similar cost.
