Bosch is what I'm looking at. Think I may wait for the credit squeeze to take hold a bit more.

High and mighty brigade doesn't bother me...

We had a Miele before (lasted for 17 years) and just got a Bosch. (SMS69L02) - looks like prices have actually gone up due to the euro rate, compared to a year ago :(

you still have to rinse your dishes before you put them in a washer anyway? may aswell go that little bit extra and just rub them with a thingy and some washing up liquid

I'd kill for a dishwasher in our house, I HATE washing up, seriously loathe it... and when I cook a full roast there's nothing more I want to do than bung the whole lot inside a dishwasher and nuke the dishes.

I'd look at tyhe Bosch ones, they're very highly rated. Some reviews for different sorts on here http://www.reviewcentre.com/reviews.php :)

wash them your self? it takes a few minutes even with two adults and two kids in the house.

zomguaresocool.

I hate it when people have dishwashers !
its just plain lazy.

utoo!

I had to endure life for 6 months without a dishwasher, it was hell. The last thing you want after your tea is to get back up again to wash up. or do you was up before you eat while it goes cold. cooking is bad enough I say.

I will never make that mistake again, next house will deffo have a dish washer. Anyone who says otherwise is a sub human.

Not that I can recommend a particular type.

Agreed.

Same with washing machines. What's wrong with going down to the river and beating your clothes with a rock? Lazy gits.

I've often wondered why people don't ask their Chickens to run around the garden to warm up rather than sticking them in an Oven.

Much prefer using a dishwasher. You can leave them to drain in there, hidden away... rather than a) having to dry them and put them away or b) leaving them on the side, looking ugly draining themselves.
