I’m getting an integrated dishwasher delivered and installed by John Lewis tomorrow.

I would have tackled it myself but my backs knackered at the minute and they had an offer on for half price install so just went with that.

Does anyone know if they remove the kick board as part of the install? It just states they will remove your old dishwasher, fit the new one and fit the door. Most other places state they will remove the kick board but JL doesn’t really go into specifics.

I imagine if it's just held on by clips then it's a 15 second task to take off. They may just take it off though and get you to put it back.

It is just held on with clips. I guess the slight complication is that to get the one off below the dishwasher, they would have to also remove the one next to it as its kind of blocking you getting it out. The dishwasher side runs behind the end of the adjacent one.

We generally use Marks Electrical & their installers will cut a notch into the kickboard if required which is sometimes the case as doors open differently/are sized differently. I'd expect all installers to remove and replace the kickboard as there's no way to install otherwise :)
