Disk 0 Unallocated Space

Okay, so I have cleaned all partition using the commandprompt on the Win7 disk, and when I try to boot my HDD it skips it and loads my CDROM which is 2nd on the boot list, which is the Win7 disk.

Now all i have in 'Where do you want to install Windows?' is

Disk 0 Unallocated Space TOTAL SIZE: 931.5GB FREE SPACE: 931.5GB

Do I need to create a partition now? It's the only thing I can do under advanced options is create a new partition. Should I just have one HDD with no partitions with Windows or should I create a seperate partition which is large enough to contain Windows 7?

Create one large enough for windows 7, 60gb at a minimum.

Creat new partition then click ok unless you really want 7 on a different partition?

Easier to reinstall when the times comes if windows has its own partition...

No need to create a partition at all, just click "Install" and Windows will set up a partition and format it automatically using the entire disk.

Why would you want a 900gb system partition?
