hi, past few days on my pc there was a loudish noise which i assumed was just something resonating within my case but yesterday i got a BSOD error message and now the pc won't boot up windows at all. Would this be likely to be a dead hard drive? I tried the windows vista repair tool booting off the CD but it eventually crashed too when trying to repair. Im guessing the resonating noise is the disk on its way out?
