ALSO, as others have said, RAID 10 is NOT more secure than RAID6, don't buy into the hypeYou can loose 2 drives in RAID1- and loose everything, in RAID6 you can loose 2 drives safely without any data loss.
What hype? RAID10 is a better choice than RAID6 in almost all situations. Whilst it might not tolerate 2 drives failing (if they are in the same pair), it might also tolerate half your array failing

Statistically 2 drives in the same pair failing is less likely than any 2 drives failing (which with RAID6 would put your data in a very risky position).
Yes, the rebuild time is a lot more, and you are at risk when rebuilding, however the probability of loosing another drive is slim (Even with the extra load a RAID6 puts on the disks).
The extra load can and does cause failures - especially over the multiple hours (or days) that a RAID6 rebuild can take with todays large drives.
