I've never heard of that software and neither has Google so I can't help with that specifically. The easiest way of doing what you want to do however is to partition the disk with a small (I use 50Gb) partition at the beginning of the disk for the OS and installed programs and then the rest for storage. If you've only got the one partition on the disk then you'll need to use something like Partition Magic to do it.
