I may have gotten myself into a slight bit of bother and now i have to go to court. I hit some guy and now hes saying i dislocated his shoulder yet he popped it back in hiself. My charge has been dropped from GBH wounding with intent to common assault as the cuts on his arms were a fabrication (im presuming they were since he didnt go to hospital after the event and theres no evidence of them ever being there). Anyway does anyone know if this is even a possibility or is he also fabricating this aswell ? Wouldnt mind some information on this, Ive consulted a physio and they have said he would need ongoing physiotherapy and probably couldnt "pop" it back in hisself. A link to somekind of medical journal would be nice disproving his tale.

why did you hit him?

trying to worm your way out of it is not going to do your credentials any good.

Im going guilty as it was a stupid argument that got out of hand and i couldnt keep my hands to myself but i can 100% say i didnt do anything to dislocate his shoulder and hes just making this up.

i cant go guilty on something i didnt do, im not denying the fact i hit him.

I would have thought he would need a medical report before he could claim an injury such as that?

My solicitor has advised me that its unlikley he will be able to proove he got the dislocated shoulder as theres no medical report but id like somekind of proof that it would be nearly impossible to pop it back in yourself.

The first time it happens it's pretty damn impossible to pop back n yourself as your body goes in to spasm and you panic like crazy. My right shoulder dislocated about 4 times before I had it operated on and tightened back up. My left shoulder comes out often but can't have 6 weeks off work at the moment so not got on the waiting list for the op yet.

The first time you dislocate, he should be in a sling for 6 weeks and be taking some form of anti inflammatory such as Dicloflenac, so check these?

he said he had dislocated it playing rugby a few years ago, would this be the same circumstance ?

Every body is going to be different, but once it's been out it can go back in fairly easy, but if he didn't have it in a sling and get some anti inflammatories, and can prove it, then it can't have been that bad can it?

clearly not, id like to proove it as i could do without a extra 100 hours community service as it will interfier with my job/weekends.

PS i do know if i didnt want community service in the first place i shouldnt have done it.
