Hi all,

I am after some Disney DVD's for my girlfriend. She is desperately trying to find some but can't find any places that sell them for a reasonable price.

The ones she is after most is The Beauty and the Beast and Pinocchio. I have looked myself and can't find any that are not way overpriced.

So my question is do any of you know a place where we can buy these DVD's for a sensible price from a trustworthy place?

Sorry if this is competitor talk or anything but seeing as OcUk don't sell Disney DVD's i'm hoping it will not get locked :P

iirc Disney release films on Region 2 for a limited time period only. I know we struggled getting some for our collection after they were released. Have you tried the bay ?

Have you tried searching this site?
As Loki said Disney are masters of the monopoly and restrict the sales of their DVDs with ruthless efficiency, so they may not be available in region 1 right now

Thanks for the replies.

Yeah i have tried the bay but not had much luck, they seem to still go for £20-25 and they are normally imports but will still keep my eye out.

Searched that site Bill but to not much luck, thanks though :)

This might sound crazy, but have you tried looking in actual retail outlets?

A friend of mine has tons so i will ask where she gets them tonight.

Bill - Thats not the Disney version but thanks for looking :)

Clinkz - Yes, we have so far discovered Cinderella for £10 in Tesco but places like HMV had prices of £25 :( We will continue searching though :D
