Disparate help needed ASAP , after trying oc I am locked out of bios

Given by 8 track but as it said in my last post my pc is totaly dead now ?

I really need some help from anybody , how can I fix if I can not access the bios ?

Clear cmos? Mb battery out for 5minutes,might need longer if its badly corrupted

Please can you tell me where the batter I need to take out is and what it looks like ? And is the "CMOS " the reset button or something ells ?

the battery is on the motherboard its round

It's on the motherboard,a big silver round battery,pinch the clips together and it will lift up and pop out,if there's a clear cmos button at the back of the pc press it,but the best method is battery removal

It will be toward the bottom of the board,where the graphic card is

Ok thanks loads for the extra info their , I have now found the battery and done the CMOS reset and I'm able to access my bios and my desktop again so feeewww ... But now I'm left with windows telling me my copy of windiws 7 is not genuine ?? I know it is .. So why is this happening now .. Am I going to have to buy a new OS ? Or is their a fix for this issue also ?

Again please help

Press the CMOS clear button on the back of the machine. Hold down for about ten seconds then try boot.

Alternatively remove the Bios Battery and leave for ten mins with all power off then try boot. If it does not boot where does the system stop on the post display???

It only says this when you change motherboard within the system so this is very strange.

I can understand why the setting is gave you did not work fine either you need to explore this. The system should be at least booting up.

Try rebooting a few times,or re register your windows,the seriel will be on a sticker on the side of the pc if its a pre built machine,or on your windows dvd box

Ok .. Woooow that was all very worrying stuff .. But I have managed to re activate over the automated phone and everything is back up and running .. A really big thanks to all of you that have replyed very fast and helped me fix this massive issue
