There are rumours that I wallow in a 1980s time warp but I would like to dispel that myth by showing you a recent purchase off e-bay.

A Commodore 64 with a mind blowing 64k of RAM, fast cassette loading and quality games such as Parallax and Spyhunter. ( shown ) It was one of my first computers .... in the 1980s

£32 very well spent. :) Amiga next.

Anyone else remember these little beauts ?

Brings a tear to my eye.

Get yourself a BBC Micro and then play Chucky Egg till your eyes bleed.

/find the ladder to loft......

I remember the C64

My first was the " legendary " Sinclair ZX81, fond memories. :D

More "seconds per frame" than FPS.

Blue Meanies was on the Vic20 I think?

And to the OP, that's a later revision C64 :)
Ahh, the Vic20......Radar Rat Race!

And the C64...my original love. The Hobbit, Twin Kingdom Valley, Airwolf, Ghosts and Goblins (when it worked!) - the list could go on and on :)

I've been looking to buy my childhood computers recently - I'd need a Sinclair ZX Spectrum (tiny little thing with rubber keys) and an Amiga 500. I remember the day I upgraded the Amiga to 1MB of RAM; that was an historic day for gaming.

All my friends had them at school - I was awfully jealous.

I then got my hands on a 286 - 16mhz - 4mb RAM - 20mb HDD beast of a machine - didn't have any games for it though :(
