Display driver error.

Playing Crysis i am stuck on it. At the bit where you in this rooms where the door open had no mavity for about 30mins now but don't know where to go.

Anyway after about 15mins of playing it freezes and i get the window pop up close programme then the error 'drive errors stopped working but recovered'

Should I unitstall then reinstall the new drivers? Also when i was installing them i did downloads and install both options. Its an XFX 4870 1GB.

Getting idle temps of 70C with fan at 12% that okay?

Are you using an Asus Motherboard by any chance, My P5E didnt like my 4Gb of OCZ and the driver would contsantly stop responding.

Idle temps with fan at only 12% sounds fine as long as it's spinning up when you're playing.

Try this:
Download and install DriverSweeper
Uninstall drivers
Boot into safe mode and run DriverSweeper
Reboot into normal mode and install the new drivers
Reboot

no got a Biostar tpower p45. Ran memtest 86 for 38mins it passed.

Will try this. How long should your rum memory test for? What the Intel CPU test called?
